About Ramona Kilpatrick

I am a Real Estate Broker and I Love SERVING Real Estate clients/customers and I serve Southeastern NM, Artesia, Carlsbad, and Roswell.
I was born in Carlsbad and lived in Lovington before moving to Artesia in the third grade. After graduating from Artesia High School in 1977, I married my high school sweetheart and raised our family in Artesia. Both of my children also graduated from Artesia High School. We moved a few times over the years, always returning home again.
My real estate career began in Arizona, where I was the receptionist for a small independent company. Within a few months, I became the bookkeeper for the property management side of the company. I enjoyed working with the tenants and owners and continued in this role even after a larger real estate company acquired the company. After 2 ½ years in Arizona, I moved to New Mexico but continued to do remote bookkeeping for the same company as well as another one. Upon returning to Artesia, I worked as an assistant for a friend who was a realtor. Encouraged by my love for the industry, I obtained my real estate license and have been dedicated to this career ever since.
I find joy in working with both buyers and sellers, as well as with my colleagues. The satisfaction of seeing the smiles on the faces of new homeowners or families moving on to the next chapter of their lives is truly rewarding. I have met incredible people in this field, many of whom have become more than just customers; they have become friends. It's an amazing job.
After nine years, I obtained my Qualifying Broker license, and my husband Roger and I have now opened our own brokerage. We are thrilled about this new chapter and welcome everyone to come to us for all their real estate needs.
